Menu Frequently Asked Questions

This page is dedicated to the frequent "Questions" one may have but not realize yet...and the "Answers" you rightfully deserve...

Question: How far in advance should we book you?

Answer: We book three to four events a day at the office, so...the sooner you decide to book us, the better...or the date you want may be taken.

Question: Will my deposit be used towards what we will owe you on the day of our function?

Answer: Yes, the deposit will automatically be applied to your balance.

Question: Are there any extra or hidden fees I need to know about?

Answer: No! The only extra fees are clearly defined/explained within the Pricing Index. Otherwise, we are always $95.00 per hour.

Question: Will the fog from the fog machines cause people with allergies and asthma to have a reaction?

Answer: In most cases, no. In some rare cases, the fog may make people with sensitivities uncomfortable, but that is very rare.

Question: Some of my friends like uncensored music, does your company mind playing advisory music?

Answer: Yes, we mind very much. We do not play foul or advisory music at any function...at any time.

Question: What happens if our function has to cancel? Do we get our deposit back?

Answer: Deposits will be refunded if your function has cancelled 31 days or more before the function date. 30 days or less before your function, your deposit will be refunded if we can book that date on a short notice.

If your function should cancel 31 days or more before the scheduled date, the deposit can be "rolled over" and be applied to a "re-schedule"...or a new event...provided the "re-scheduled/new" event takes place within one (1) year of the originally scheduled date/event.

Question: What happens if you are sick on the day of our function, also, if you have an equipment failure?

Answer: We have 16 DJ's on staff here, and keep meticulous records of your event. In the event I or someone is sick, the paperwork and details of your function will be turned over to another DJ (or KJ - dependent upon the venue). I have been in business for over 15 years, this has not happened to date.

As far as equipment failure...The DJ booths are set-up with redundant systems, meaning each booth has two amps, two mixers, etc. If one system fails, the back-up system will take over. I also keep another system on the truck at all times. Equipment failure has only happened twice in 15 years...and the back-ups took over without missing a beat.

Question: We know lots of people like loud music to dance to, but some of us just want to sit around and talk. Can you control the volume in an area where we would like it a bit quieter?

Answer: You bet! The second amp on each booth can be used for "zoning". This means I can hook up speakers to the zoned amp, and control the volume separately from the dance floor. This is very helpful when I am at a venue (I DJ at the MTV house a lot where this is a must) that needs speakers somewhere so people can hear announcements, but don't want to hear loud music.

Question: Do you handle announcements; programs; raffles; etc?

Answer: Yes, I do all the announcements. At Weddings I take care of the flow of the evening. Also, if your function needs announcements, or advertising statements etc., just provide me with a script, or see me before the function to talk about what you would like me to say.

Question: Can you do outside events...like carnivals, etc?

Answer: Yes, I have an outside set-up with gas generators if electric is not available.
Important: The generator is not normally loaded on our Transport Vehicles; If needed, Prior Notice will be Required.

They say eating hot food will effect your taste. So the next time I play a Michael Bolton song, remind me to lay off the hot food.

It takes "Rapper Coolio" 5 hours to achieve that hair style he wears. He's got so much wire in there, he doesn't go out in a lightning storm.

He says he's superstitious, but I think he don't wanna get lit up.

Jessica Simpson recently was hired and fired by Pepsi on the same day. Before she signed the contract, someone showed the Execs her web site that says "Drink fruit juice, not Cola's if you want to keep your health".

Pepsi..."Not Amused, Jessica. You're Fired!"

J-Lo proves shes no star at the box office.
Duh, wasn't that pretty evident by her music?
